Kate and Ian were a referral (yeah referrals) from Rachael & Brent, who we photographed last February. It’s always nice knowing your work is loved and that people are happy to pass your name along to their friends and family.
Kate and Ian decided that they wanted to have a ” first look” before their Evergreen Brickworks Wedding ceremony. A perfect location for Kate, who is an architect and Ian, who loves nature. I loved every moment of it, but when Ian started to cry, well that was just AWESOME!
We went out to explore the grounds and get some nice “nature” images that Ian wanted. Love this location!
I adored Kate’s dress, it suited her perfectly and was so gorgeous. One of my favourites this year for sure.
I think the Holcim Gallery is one of my favourite places at this location. It has so much architecture, art work and graffiti. You need to go and check it out if you haven’t been. All the images you see below were taken in that area.
The small and quaint ceremony took place in the court yard at The Granite Brewery. A truly perfect spot for this couple. I couldn’t imagine them saying “I do” anywhere else.
We had such a fabulous time Kate & Ian. We wish you love and happiness as you continue on this new adventure. XOXO Kerri
