We met via a skype date and it was a perfect match! HAHA
Elsa and Adam had a perfectly intimate wedding at the lovely Nestleton Waters Inn. It was our first time photographing at this venue and I must say, it was so beautiful. The weather was perfect and the decor was incredible.
I loved this area for the ceremony. It was really pretty and quaint.
In there own words…
Elsa – I really enjoyed all of it! The food was excellent, the DJ was fantastic, I had a great time dancing (an activity I usually don’t enjoy), and there were lots of funny moments (thinking particularly of when my bustle fell and our maid of honour and our groomsmen went under the dress to get it tied back up). When Adam put the ring on my finger though, I couldn’t be happier.
Adam – My favourite moment was right after we walked down the aisle. Immediately after we cleared the last row of chairs, my wife locks eyes with the house cat that lives at the venue. Then makes a beeline over to it so she can pet it.
Advice for Couple’s to be.
Don’t let the planning get to you. Your wedding day should be a celebration of your lives together not a stress filled event worrying about table settings. Your first priority should be to enjoy yourself. A wedding is a celebration of love, otherwise it is nothing more than signing a contract. Invite the friends and family who are the closest to you and be there for each other. Allowing yourself to be in the moment will leave you with memories (both happy and hilarious) to look back upon fondly in the years to come. I accidentally signed the registry in the wrong place, but that’s a much better memory than worrying about the exact placement of a centrepiece!
Elsa – I couldn’t choose just one photo, honestly I had a hard time narrowing it down to just the two! The photo of my maid of honour, grandpa, and good friend dancing in a conga line with close friends and family in the background always brings back fond memories. Everyone is laughing and having a good time! The photo of Adam and I and our bridal party usually starts me laughing hysterically. In an attempt to produce a cute photo, Kerri asked us to kiss. Our best man made a “being sick” noise in my ear, I started laughing, Adam ended up kissing my teeth and we have the photo to prove our fun!
Adam – The one of Elsa and I with the wedding party. Elsa and I are crouching and our bridal party are leaning behind us. The photo is taken near a 45 degree angle to our left and is in portrait. I can feel the love in that photo. Not just between Elsa and myself but between all for us. That photo just makes me happy.
